I am just shocked by how people get so easily offended by the littlest things. Adam Lambert did lots of controversial stuff. He was putting some male dancer’s face in his crotch, walking dancers on a leash, and he kissed the keyboardist (who was a guy). Everyone was all freaked out.
Adam Lambert said to Rolling Stone Magazine:
“Female performers have been doing this for years — pushing the envelope about sexuality — and the minute a man does it, everybody freaks out. We’re in 2009; it’s time to take risks, be a little more brave, time to open people’s eyes, and if it offends them, then maybe I’m not for them.”
I totally agree with him. Lady GaGa kissed girls in Paparazzi, Britney was practically naked in Womanizer. Adam Lambert does some racy stuff at the AMAs and everyone is up in arms. The Parent Television Council even complained. All he was doing was showing his freedom as a performer! If he kissed a girl, then there would be no controversy! Everyone’s scared of different sexualities. Adam Lambert is really pushing the envelope with sexuality now, so give him credit and enjoy “For Your Entertainment”. He is the best male singer I have ever heard. He’s not some wannabe gravelly voiced singer from like Nickelback or Daughtry or something, and he’s not singing boring shit like his former American Idol opponent Kris Allen. He brings something new to Z100. Same goes for Owl City.
I love Adam Lambert. And all you girls out there. Be jealous. I will have a better chance with him than you because I’m a GUY! O.o
p.s. I’ve been writing a lot about celebrities lately. First Megan Fox, now Adam Lambert. I better stop or this is gonna turn into some kind of Perez Hilton nightmare.
